About Gregorian
Headed by Frank Peterson, the German act Gregorian records popular songs in Gregorian chant-style. This has been their style ever since their second album and has proven successful. The act compiles songs that can fit the 7-tone scale of Gregorian chants and records it with the use of no less than a dozen vocalists. The albums are referred to as the Masters of Chant albums.
