R&B singer Michelle Williams was born in 1980 in Rockford, Illinois. Michelle Williams replaced LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson in 2000 during the much publicized falling out in Destiny’s Child. She won a MOBO Award for Best New Artist in 2002.
