Starting with the single You're My Heart, You're My Soul, on with You Can Win If You Want and then Cheri, Cheri Lady next, Modern Talking started a run of hit singles, then hit albums that carried them all across Europe and around the world. Oddly, only Brother Louie was a success in the UK and Canada (#4 and #34 on the charts respectively), while in the US Modern Talking were not at all known in the mainstream.
