The Ramones are famous for their constant touring, for their entire 22 year career together as a band from 1974, playing over 2000 concerts. Although they have never received much respect or recognition in their day, not even considerable sales, the Ramones were ranked second only to the Beatles in Spin magazine list of greatest rock and roll bands ever in 2002.
